Building on a string of award success this year, Securonix has been named a Platinum winner of three Govies Government Security Awards. The award series honors outstanding government security products in a variety of categories.
Securonix Next-Gen SIEM edged out the competition to win Platinum in the Behavior Analytics, Security & Risk Intelligence, and User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) categories. Our accolades this year build on last year’s recognition as the Platinum UEBA winner.
An independent panel of judges from the security industry selected the top entries in the 2022 categories using criteria that included: features, innovation, user-friendliness, interoperability, quality, design, market opportunity, impact in the security industry, technical advances, and scalability. By combining UEBA, SIEM, XDR, and SOAR into a scalable cloud-native architecture, Securonix provides the industry’s first complete, end-to-end security operations fabric for threat detection and response in modern environments – reducing noise, prioritizing high fidelity alerts, and limiting analyst complexity.
Serving numerous government agencies, Securonix is an essential tool in public sector technology stacks. This year, Securonix increased its commitment to securing our nation’s critical infrastructure against advanced threats by establishing a new operational technology (OT) business unit within Securonix Threat Labs.
Leading the OT business unit is Edward Rhyne, serving as Executive Principal, Head of Cyber Physical Systems Security. With 30 years of experience working for private sector organizations and federal agencies including NASA, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Edward is committed to developing solutions that monitor an organization’s cyber physical systems for behavioral anomalies in the same way that our next-gen platform rooted in UEBA scans for deviations in an IT environment.
Leveraging the $1 billion investment Securonix received this year from Vista Equity Partners and additional investors, Edward and the OT business unit are actively developing vertical-specific solutions that identify OT threats and respond autonomously across the public sector and verticals including manufacturing, banking, automotive, financial services, and more.
It’s an honor to be continually recognized for our efforts in defending government agencies against advanced threats and we look forward to developing new and innovative solutions to secure our nation’s critical infrastructure.
