Following a string of recognitions already this year, we were honored to learn of another big win for Securonix in The Govies Government Security Awards, which celebrate outstanding government security products.
Although participation in The Govies award program was greater than ever this year, Securonix took home Platinum in User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) – a category we pioneered with our sophisticated machine learning and behavior analytics technologies.
Today’s sophisticated attacks will often evade traditional defenses using more covert tactics such as dormant or time triggered malware to infiltrate targets. And despite several vendors claiming to leverage UEBA to detect and respond to these threats, Securonix has proven its mettle when it comes to helping security teams respond to threats quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
Our sophisticated UEBA is a key component of the Securonix Next-Gen SIEM platform. It analyzes and correlates interactions between users, systems, applications, IP addresses, and data, detecting advanced threats such as insider and cyberattacks, fraud, cloud data compromise, and non-compliance. This powerful solution platform has won us high scores in leading analyst reports for Basic Security Monitoring, Complex Security Monitoring, and Advanced Threat Detection and Response, as well as the trust of five of the Fortune 10 companies.
It has been a landmark year in the government sector for Securonix, marked by strategic partnerships with companies like Booz Allen Hamilton and achievements such as our addition to the U.S Department of Homeland Security’s Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program’s Approved Products List for Network Security Management. And there’s more ahead for 2021 that we’re looking forward to sharing in the weeks and months to come.
“We congratulate our partners at Securonix on their well-deserved Platinum Award for UEBA,” said Ryon Williams, Manager of the Securonix Team at Carahsoft. “We are proud to work with a technology provider dedicated to constant innovation to mitigate threats for our joint government customers, and this achievement recognizes the hard work of the Securonix team to help agencies maintain secure environments in 2020 despite the increased risks posed by the rapid shift to digital services and remote work.”
